Your Time:
The children need personal attention, guidance, listening, new skills, encouragement, healthy food, and a place where they feel safe and wanted. This takes personal time – volunteer time.- Cook a meal or prepare a snack for our after school programs.
- Volunteer as a tutor for the after school homework and literacy program.
- Bring an activity to our Girl or Boy Scout troops.
- Volunteer for the Health Fair as a translator or backpack assembler.
Your Resources:
We need many practical items to manage this ministry and provide programs. Some examples include:
- Operating funds
- to pay utilities, program materials and teacher salaries - A/V equipment
- overhead, screen, transparencies - Music equipment
- boom box, keyboard, head sets - Photography
- digital still and video cameras - Office
- scanner, cell phone & service, etc. - newer PCs with software
- for homework and learning new skills - Christian children's videos & books
- Health related
- blood pressure cuff/stethoscope

Special Needs:
One significant need we are addressing is expanding the After School Program to serve the children each week day and during school breaks. That will require funds for programming, staff and food as well as volunteer tutors/mentors.
